Slater (site owner) : 37, lives in Hampshire, UK.
I
thought I'd write this site when I came across richardslater.com
and found out no-one had bought it ! Amazing. Anyway -
here it is, maybe one day it'll be a huge list of RS's
all over the world. No, I won't let anyone have the list
of email addresses. Ever.
I work in London and my off-work pursuits include riding
my motorbike (a Suzuki Bandit 600), gadgets, anything
outdoors, photography, travel off the beaten trail, nerdy
computing and mountain biking. I live with my wife, son
and beagle. Up until recently, I was really heavily involved
volunteering for International
Rescue. If you live in the UK and want to "put
something back" AND meet a great bunch of people
AND learn cool things, I really suggest you have a look
at our site or email me for more details.

: Richard Slater In Malta : Another RS here. Born
Saltburn 1966, spent most of my time in Bradford W.Yorks
before moving to Gibraltar and now Gzira, Malta. Been here
3 years. Married Fiona 2005 in Gibraltar. Work in betting
industry as an odds compiler for a German company. Found
this site when bored and surfing whilst Fiona was is watching
some rubbish American girly program. Don't normally go aroung
wearing silly hats that are too small for me but I was drunk. |

surprise to see your website. I am a 56 year old man who
lives in South Carolina....married and with three grown
children. My British ancestors emigrated to the USA probably
in the 1800's. I am aware of a relative who was a Captain
William B. Slater in the Union Army during the American
civil war in the 1860's. My Slater grandfather's family
was from the upper New York State area. I am curious about
my lineage, but not to the point that could afford to pay
a service to do the digging of my family tree.
Interests: reading, gardening, almost all sports (the tour
de france is, way above all, my favorite).
I am currently enrolled at a technical college to be a registered
nurse.
When you have amassed a list of us guys, I would be curious
to see if there are any possible distant relatives. |

32 years old and live in Derbyshire, England with my wife
Maria, daughter Hannah and cat Mimi. Hannah is almost 1
year old, so my interests are very much like Hannah's as
she takes up most of my spare time (that's not a complaint
- I love being a dad). So things like walks in the park,
feeding ducks, CBeebies TV, long drives to help Hannah sleep.
Apart from that I support Chesterfield
Football Club although I don't go to as many matches
as I used to. I previously played trombone in brass bands
and also a bit of jazz. |

currently living in Auckland, New Zealand where I work for
the University of Auckland. I moved here last December.
My family home is Windermere in the Lake Disrict and I spent
4 and a half years in Sheffield at Sheffield Hallam University
(just up the road from Chesterfield) doing computer and
management science. I am a very keen sailor and I'm really
looking forward to the lions tour that's about to start.

years of age, and live in Rotherham which is near Sheffield.
I was sat watching TV bored when a thought popped into my
head 'hmm wonder if my name is free as a domain name' so
I typed it in and was pleasantly surprised that some one
had set up this site and also not so happy I couldn't have
the domain name lol, but never mind I'm sure as time goes
by more Richard Slater's will try their name, find the site
and email into the site n we'll have a big list of Richard
Slaters from all over the world.
p.s I think theres a war ship of some type called USS
